Bringing our two hobbies together

Take your time!

When you see your dog getting the hang of the jump then also see them getting the hang of the fetch it is very tempting to throw all caution to the wind and throw everything together and push forward at 90 miles an hour. Try to refrain, for the moment, from putting several jumps up at different distances and angles. Remember we havn't worked on distance direction work yet! Keep it easy. We want to build up your dog's skills with you still standing in the one position rather than running around after them. We will do that in agility. Here we are starting to build your distance control work.

Set up your single jump at 4m from the start position and your retrive box 4m behind that all in a nice straight line.

Get started at step 1.

Remind your dog of the game and be sure to keep it fun.
