Courses - Spring 2026
We are delighted to hit the ground running for the new training year. We have a busy schedule lined up, covering all the usual puppy offerings, new courses for teens, adults and generally excitable dogs, and we're building up our Sniffers team through our scentwork courses and workshops.
If you are unsure of whether a course might suit you or your dog please get in touch and we will be delighted to help.
We have:
Puppy Courses
For puppies up to 5 months of age, this session lets us work on nipping & biting, sleeping, toileting and other settling-in topics with your new puppy. This session is also available before your puppy arrives to help get you set up.
Puppy Primer
This group is for new puppies up to 16 weeks of age where we introduce learning to learn, people and doggy social skills, being comfortable to be handled, listening and off-leash play.
Polite Puppy Foundations
Our Foundations group, for puppies from 16 weeks to 7 months, introduces leash walking, recall, and self control. We work on polite on-leash greetings, how to ask for things politely, and how to chill out in distracting spaces. Working as a team is key.
Puppy Playdates
Our puppy playdates are open to puppies up to 16 weeks of age if they have not joined Puppy Primer or 20 weeks if they have. These are off-leash directed playdates where puppies learn to play nicely together, listen to each other, and remember you are there.

Teens & Adult Courses
Leash Walking
For dogs of 7 months and up this course focuses on walking nicely on leash and the supporting work to get there.
Calm Canine
For dogs of all ages who struggle with over excitement on leash towards other dogs and sometimes people. A training consultation is required beforehand.
Teen Manners
For teens from 7 months up to 2 years of age. We focus on calm down, getting attention back and being able to work together in the real world.
Recall work
Open to teens from 7 months of age all through adults and seniors. We focus on recall and supporting behaviours such as attention and stopping.
Park walking group
Invite-only group for dogs from 6 months of age and up. Reduce the novelty of being around other dogs and build robust doggy social skills. Requires group or one-to-one work first.
Calm Down Coffee Shop
Open to dogs of all ages. Learn to sit still and enjoy the surroundings rather than constantly looking for attention or something to do.
Behaviour & One-to-one work
Behaviour Work
Dogs of all ages can struggle with behavioural issues such as:
- Barking, lunging, snapping
- Dog bites
- Resource guarding
- Separation distress
- Compulsive behaviours
- Excessive fearfulness
- Noise sensitivities
- Fears and phobias
Behaviour work focuses on addressing the underlying causes as well as the outward symptoms.
One-to-one Training
Sometimes it is easier for you and your dog to work one-to-one rather than in a group. Topics can include but are not limited to:
- Leash walking
- Recall
- New baby
- Robbing things
- Not listening
- Jumping up
- Over excitement at guests
